Dear friends,

25 years ago, my vision of a true Catholic Stewardship and Development firm led to the formation of Guidance In Giving, Inc., a Catholic organization that catered specifically to Catholic clients! Along with my partners, Michael Goodwin, Joseph Zamorano and Carlos Proaño, I took my love for the Catholic Church and commitment to faith, to build a company that focused solely on strengthening Catholic dioceses, parishes and schools, allowing our Catholic faith to continue to flourish all across the United States.

These past 25 years have been filled with tremendous moments I will cherish forever. As a team, we have successfully raised more than $4,000,000,000 in diocesan capital campaigns, individual parish campaigns and Catholic high school programs. But more important than the funds generated by our successful programs, are the relationships we have built and the projects we have enabled. It’s through theses efforts that we’ve created a true legacy –a legacy we are proud to share with you.

I am honored to have worked in the Catholic development and stewardship field for the last 42 years and I have truly enjoyed each and every day. I have served as the Chairman and CEO of Guidance In Giving, Inc since our founding 25 years ago and I have been very blessed!

It is with great pride, therefore, that I have made the decision to prepare and evolve the firm for the next 25 years. Effective today, I will pass on my role as CEO, shifting my focus to serving as an active Chairman of the Board and will be involved in the daily work of our organization for years to come.  Moving forward, I welcome my partner and friend, Michael Goodwin as the new CEO. As you know, Michael has been with our firm since its inception and I know he is poised to direct Guidance In Giving, Inc. as we continue forward in our next 25 years and beyond.

It is a privilege to look at the leadership team we have developed. Each executive has been with the firm for decades and has been an integral member of our success. Please welcome me in congratulating our leaders to their new executive roles:

Steven Babcock, Chief Operating Officer

Joseph Zamorano, President: West Coast Division

Jennifer Frazier Keene, President: Diocesan Services

 Joseph Neville, President: Parish Services

As a professional in the stewardship and development field, I cherish the relationships I have developed over the last 42 years and I count you all among my friends. Please accept my sincere gratitude for your belief in Guidance in Giving, Inc. and for considering us one of your trusted partners in our Catholic Stewardship journey.  I am excited to witness the growth and development of our firm as we embrace the next chapter.

I look forward to seeing you in the years ahead on accounts and at the ISCS regional and annual conference.

With my regards,

Michael R. Cusack
