WHAT’S UNIQUE ABOUT CATHOLIC SCHOOL CAMPAIGNS? | VIEW CLIENT LIST BY STATE

Our Philosophy

Guidance In Giving’s goal in any campaign is to achieve high quality donor decisions anchored in prayer and discernment. Our focus is placed equally on the donors’ and school’s needs to ultimately develop and deepen the donor-school relationship. It is this philosophy that guides our work in any campaign. The extent that this goal is achieved determines how much an institution can realize and, equally as important, how donors feel about the campaign when it is over. To be sure, a faster and abbreviated approach to donors can raise some money. However, in a faster approach, time is all that is saved. We believe that a comprehensive approach to prospective donors in all constituency groups focused on achieving the highest quality decisions will not only raise more money for your campaign, but also grow and enhance the school’s ongoing work in development.

Our Approach

Guidance In Giving is the only firm offering an approach and methodology designed specifically around the unique characteristics of a Catholic school. We understand schools both internally and externally and can design a successful strategy for
your school.

Schools are different from any other not-for-profit organization and, consequently, school campaigns should, in many ways, be different from other capital campaigns. Guidance In Giving’s approach to a school is to address the specific characteristics and circumstances that set schools apart from all other not-for-profit organizations, and to create a campaign plan and strategy that is designed around those unique factors.

Most fundraising companies offer campaign plans to schools that were created for other kinds of institutions - parishes, museums, etc. Some money can be raised using almost any fundraising methodology, but rarely does a school achieve its true potential in a campaign with these awkward approaches.

Employment Opportunities

"Having an on-site coordinator of the campaign was invaluable. I would have never undertaken this project without such a person. The adjustments that are made for various unanticipated reasons make having such a person imperative."
