Project Description

St. Francis of Assisi is a vibrant, growing, bilingual parish in Frisco, TX, outside of Dallas.  Since Christmas Day, 2001, parishioners celebrated Mass and served their over 90 ministries in a 40,000 square foot multi-purpose building.  As the parish continued to grow in size and service, their need for a separate church building grew as well. After much input from the parishioners, the parish developed a plan to build a new, traditional looking church to seat 1,500-2,100 people.  St. Francis of Assisi parish partnered with Guidance In Giving for a feasibility study, where a goal of $6.5 million for the new church was advised. The parish joined together in this historical and exciting campaign, “St. Francis of Assisi Rebuilt God’s Church and So Shall We” and raised almost $6.9 million. Their beautiful new church was dedicated on December 7, 2013.
